Natsuo is a twelve year old boy, about 5 feet, 3 inches or so and skinny. He has long wavy/curly hair that goes to just bellow his shoulders with bags that go to his eyebrows. His hair is a deep violet color, almost purple. He has pale skin. He has lost his right eye, as it was poked out. He has cat ears on his head and a cattail coming from the base of his spine.
Abilities:
Natsuo is the fighter for Zero. He uses word spells to fight with his sacrifice, Youji. Natsuo uses his vocabulary and imagination to focus his spells into reality. The better and faster he says his spells, the more effective they will be. Youji takes any damage that is aimed at the pair. Natsuo makes sure that they are protected as well though, with protective spells such a shields. The team is named zero because they cannot feel pain because of their terrible blood circulation. They are also able to control someone when they know their full name. They take that name on for their own and make the person’s body do as they say.
Personality:
Natsuo is a brat. He loves to stir up trouble when he can. He will follow the orders of his sacrifice though, never questioning him. He listens to Nagisa-sensei though, because she is like a mother to him. He really wishes she would praise him like she does Youji. Despite this jealous streak toward Youji, He is always loyal to him and really likes him. He does everything thing he can to make him happy, and will put Youji’s happiness before his own. Other than that he rarely does what he is told.
He likes to play games with others normally, like when he played with Ritsuka’s teacher and took control of her name. By taking control of her name he took control of her body as well. These games can be on the twisted side, something with pain or humiliation. He really likes to see other people’s pain, like when he wanted to see Soubi’s suffering as they were fighting.
Natsuo does warm up to other people; and finds that that those who are interesting will be fun to have around. This is shown when he really likes Soubi and Ritsuka. The Zero pair even goes to help with Seimei when he attacks the school, though it may have been for Nagisa-sensei’s sake as well. She was very upset when Seimei poked out Ritsu’s eyes, someone who is very important to her. Either way, their actions were helpful to Ritsuka.

Natsuo becomes fond of Soubi and Ritsuka. The pair becomes very happy living with Soubi, even though they don’t really admit it to anyone but each other. It’s hard to admit it when they where forced to live with him because of their failure. It’s really different from the life they knew with Nagisa-sensei though. Instead of being prodded a lot, they get to play video games. He even takes care of the frostbite on their hands and ears. It’s a fun life with lots of baths and fun people.
Later, Nagisa-sensei tells the pair they can come home. They do go because they are really happy Nagisa-sensei still wants them, but they are also sad because they have grown to really like their new home. They leave with just a note saying they are going home. It’s the coward’s way out, but it would be too sad trying to say it to Soubi’s face.
Youji is treated far better then Natsuo by Nagisa-sensei when they get home. It annoys Natsuo when Nagisa-sensei does so, but he says that he likes Youji too so it’s okay. They go back to her to be re-taught by Ritsu how to fight. Even though they say it’s a bad idea, Nagisa-sensei says they must.
When Soubi and Ritsuka come to the school, Natsuo and Youji help with dealing with Ritsuka’s brother, Seimei. They take control of his name, which upsets him. They are beaten down from his words, which for some reason make them tremble. They become scared but Soubi ends the confrontation when he breaks the window behind Seimei. Seimei is able to escape, but this allowed the pair to calm down again.
When Kio is captured after the fight with Seimei, The pair goes with Ritsuka and Soubi to get him back. They don’t fight with Bloodless, the pair that Loveless does fight with, but they do watch. During the fight, the pair experienced their worse nightmare. The dream was of having Nagisa choose the other zero pair over them and being disowned. It was terrible for them, but Soubi snapped them out of it. In the end Loveless wins and they get Kio back. Natsuo and Youji think he’s really funny when they see him, since it seems they had just been feeding him pizza the entire time.
After they fight, they ask Nagisa if they can live with Soubi because they don’t want to fight the loveless fight anymore. They get the okay, which makes them happy, saying that it is their home. They go right back to how settled they were before Nagisa-sensei said to come home, but they aren’t saying why she really let them return, other then Nagisa-sensei says Ritsuka is a useful person to have around.
Soubi calls Nagisa asking why the Zero pair is there, and she tells him that they don’t want to fight loveless anymore, so they stopping training as well. This seems like a fine answer for Soubi and he lets them live with him. The pair even attended school with Ritsuka, which scares the teacher since she remembers them. They don’t like school though, since they still don’t like most people, and don’t go back. Instead, they just hang out at Soubi’s house and keep an eye out for anything about Seimei or other fighting pairs that might come to fight.

His tail thumped against Youji’s side as the other boy slept in there now shared bed. This entire place was pissing him off as he lay next to his sacrifice. He huffed though and tried to think of something else. He reaches a hand out to move Youji’s bangs out of his face, which was only meet with a grumpy murmur from him and a whinny stop it as he rolled to snuggle into Natsuo.
Nagisa-sensei would probably kill him for letting Youji be killed while he wasn’t here. It wasn’t something that he liked to think about though. Being pissed about the video games was much better. Besides, most everything that Natsuo did wasn’t good enough for her anyway. He really wanted to be good enough for her, but some things just would never happen.

He seemed stiffer too, then when he was at home. He was sure that he had gotten used to their hugs and nibbles there, but here he just seemed different.
Well, everyone at this place seemed off though. Maybe it was from dying too often, or the experiments he hadn’t seen yet. He wondered what they felt like, the experiments. Youji didn’t really tell him yet, so he was just forced to wait for now. Hw could ask some of the other people, but he hadn’t figured them out yet. Like that butler dude with the cat fetish. That was weird. Plus Youji said he wasn’t human or something, which made it plus two on the weird scale for him.
Natsuo was getting tired now, thinking so much. He hated that he couldn’t just zone out on his favorite video game. Ritsuka had suggested a book, but the only fun thing he had ever really used one of those for was throwing it. Snuggling down with Youji, Natsuo gave a yawn. Well, maybe something interesting would happen soon. Every Sunday there was supposed to be something new, right? So he just closed his eyes and drifted off, thinking about what might come the next day.

Natsuo is a twelve year old boy, about 5 feet, 3 inches or so and skinny. He has long wavy/curly hair that goes to just bellow his shoulders with bags that go to his eyebrows. His hair is a deep violet color, almost purple. He has pale skin. He has lost his right eye, as it was poked out. He has cat ears on his head and a cattail coming from the base of his spine.
Abilities:
Natsuo is the fighter for Zero. He uses word spells to fight with his sacrifice, Youji. Natsuo uses his vocabulary and imagination to focus his spells into reality. The better and faster he says his spells, the more effective they will be. Youji takes any damage that is aimed at the pair. Natsuo makes sure that they are protected as well though, with protective spells such a shields. The team is named zero because they cannot feel pain because of their terrible blood circulation. They are also able to control someone when they know their full name. They take that name on for their own and make the person’s body do as they say.

Natsuo is a brat. He loves to stir up trouble when he can. He will follow the orders of his sacrifice though, never questioning him. He listens to Nagisa-sensei though, because she is like a mother to him. He really wishes she would praise him like she does Youji. Despite this jealous streak toward Youji, He is always loyal to him and really likes him. He does everything thing he can to make him happy, and will put Youji’s happiness before his own. Other than that he rarely does what he is told.
He likes to play games with others normally, like when he played with Ritsuka’s teacher and took control of her name. By taking control of her name he took control of her body as well. These games can be on the twisted side, something with pain or humiliation. He really likes to see other people’s pain, like when he wanted to see Soubi’s suffering as they were fighting.
Natsuo does warm up to other people; and finds that that those who are interesting will be fun to have around. This is shown when he really likes Soubi and Ritsuka. The Zero pair even goes to help with Seimei when he attacks the school, though it may have been for Nagisa-sensei’s sake as well. She was very upset when Seimei poked out Ritsu’s eyes, someone who is very important to her. Either way, their actions were helpful to Ritsuka.
He’s not used to being nice with other people. He’s used to them being something to play with, not really friends. Having Soubi and Ritskua in his life is a big change, but he’s doing well with it.
History:
Natsuo and Youji of them have always stayed by Nagisa-sensei’s side, and think very highly of her. They think of themselves as her most skilled pair.
They are sent away to punish Soubi for Nagisa-sensei, who doesn’t like the fighter. They find him after they take control of Ritsuka’s teacher’s name in order to play with her. Soubi sends her off and they start a battle with him. When they lose to the other fighter, they tell Soubi that they will not be able to return home because they lost. It is a devastating thing to lose to anyone. Soubi had used their inability to feel pain against them by freezing them, which made them unable to move. Soubi offers to let them stay with him, and Natsuo reluctantly agrees to go.
Natsuo becomes fond of Soubi and Ritsuka. The pair becomes very happy living with Soubi, even though they don’t really admit it to anyone but each other. It’s hard to admit it when they where forced to live with him because of their failure. It’s really different from the life they knew with Nagisa-sensei though. Instead of being prodded a lot, they get to play video games. He even takes care of the frostbite on their hands and ears. It’s a fun life with lots of baths and fun people.
Later, Nagisa-sensei tells the pair they can come home. They do go because they are really happy Nagisa-sensei still wants them, but they are also sad because they have grown to really like their new home. They leave with just a note saying they are going home. It’s the coward’s way out, but it would be too sad trying to say it to Soubi’s face.
Youji is treated far better then Natsuo by Nagisa-sensei when they get home. It annoys Natsuo when Nagisa-sensei does so, but he says that he likes Youji too so it’s okay. They go back to her to be re-taught by Ritsu how to fight. Even though they say it’s a bad idea, Nagisa-sensei says they must.
When Soubi and Ritsuka come to the school, Natsuo and Youji help with dealing with Ritsuka’s brother, Seimei. They take control of his name, which upsets him. They are beaten down from his words, which for some reason make them tremble. They become scared but Soubi ends the confrontation when he breaks the window behind Seimei. Seimei is able to escape, but this allowed the pair to calm down again.
When Kio is captured after the fight with Seimei, The pair goes with Ritsuka and Soubi to get him back. They don’t fight with Bloodless, the pair that Loveless does fight with, but they do watch. During the fight, the pair experienced their worse nightmare. The dream was of having Nagisa choose the other zero pair over them and being disowned. It was terrible for them, but Soubi snapped them out of it. In the end Loveless wins and they get Kio back. Natsuo and Youji think he’s really funny when they see him, since it seems they had just been feeding him pizza the entire time.
After they fight, they ask Nagisa if they can live with Soubi because they don’t want to fight the loveless fight anymore. They get the okay, which makes them happy, saying that it is their home. They go right back to how settled they were before Nagisa-sensei said to come home, but they aren’t saying why she really let them return, other then Nagisa-sensei says Ritsuka is a useful person to have around.
Soubi calls Nagisa asking why the Zero pair is there, and she tells him that they don’t want to fight loveless anymore, so they stopping training as well. This seems like a fine answer for Soubi and he lets them live with him. The pair even attended school with Ritsuka, which scares the teacher since she remembers them. They don’t like school though, since they still don’t like most people, and don’t go back. Instead, they just hang out at Soubi’s house and keep an eye out for anything about Seimei or other fighting pairs that might come to fight.
Roleplay Sample - Log:
Natsuo was so bored. Bored out of his mind. Why did they have to come to a place without video games?! It really pissed the little cat boy off. His tail thumped against Youji’s side as the other boy slept in there now shared bed. This entire place was pissing him off as he lay next to his sacrifice. He huffed though and tried to think of something else. He reaches a hand out to move Youji’s bangs out of his face, which was only meet with a grumpy murmur from him and a whinny stop it as he rolled to snuggle into Natsuo.
Nagisa-sensei would probably kill him for letting Youji be killed while he wasn’t here. It wasn’t something that he liked to think about though. Being pissed about the video games was much better. Besides, most everything that Natsuo did wasn’t good enough for her anyway. He really wanted to be good enough for her, but some things just would never happen.
It really didn’t matter though, since they had moved out, right? It was more Soubi who they needed to listen to. Just thinking of that made him laugh though. Soubi was okay, but he wasn’t Nagisa-sensei. Natsuo played with Youji’s hair, making sure not to move it enough to bother him again this time. He wondered what Ritsuka was feeling without his fighter. He knew it couldn’t be anything good, but what it wasn’t like Ritsuka liked talking about that stuff. He seemed stiffer too, then when he was at home. He was sure that he had gotten used to their hugs and nibbles there, but here he just seemed different.
Well, everyone at this place seemed off though. Maybe it was from dying too often, or the experiments he hadn’t seen yet. He wondered what they felt like, the experiments. Youji didn’t really tell him yet, so he was just forced to wait for now. Hw could ask some of the other people, but he hadn’t figured them out yet. Like that butler dude with the cat fetish. That was weird. Plus Youji said he wasn’t human or something, which made it plus two on the weird scale for him.
Natsuo was getting tired now, thinking so much. He hated that he couldn’t just zone out on his favorite video game. Ritsuka had suggested a book, but the only fun thing he had ever really used one of those for was throwing it. Snuggling down with Youji, Natsuo gave a yawn. Well, maybe something interesting would happen soon. Every Sunday there was supposed to be something new, right? So he just closed his eyes and drifted off, thinking about what might come the next day.

Natsuo wasn’t sure what to make of the fact that Youji had been on this stupid ship for so long without him. He didn’t even want to think about there being another him, or that fact that he might have been there already.
No, that was just stupid; Natsuo was going to keep focusing on his video game instead of things he didn’t understand. He was winning with Youji and it was awesome! “These stupid things don’t have a chance!” There came a couple of woots from Youji as they finished off the level, which made Natsuo grin.
After a second, he hugged Youji after they had won, something the other hadn’t seemed to get tired of yet. Normally he would just high five him; but ever since he heard about being away from Youji for so long, he felt like hugs. Whatever. It was okay for now, and they could go back to normal sooner or later.
Natsuo wondered who else had been on the ship that he knew. Ritsuka was still here, but what about Soubi and Kio? It wasn’t something that Youji wanted to talk about, or got too distracted from. Ritsuka though? He wasn’t sure why he hadn’t had much time to talk to him yet.
Nagisa Sagan wouldn’t like how lazy they were being, but it didn’t matter anymore. They had left her anyway… Natsuo’s ears lowered and he moved closer to Youji, his tail hitting against his side. They had a place to live with Soubi at home, and Ritsuka as a friend, but Youji was Natsuo’s world. As long as he was there, everything was okay.
“I’m going to get us some apple sacks!” Natsuo said before getting up. He would have to remember to be careful with the knife. Watch out where he cut. Though, he had become much better about hurting himself over the years. One day his lack of feeling would kill him, but Natsuo just wanted to make some bunny apples for Youji right now. Yes, though death would always be a heartbeat away, Natsuo was with Youji, and that made it okay for now.

It is a devastating thing to lose to anyone. Soubi had used what they thought was their inability to feel pain against them by freezing them so they lost their ability to move. Soubi offers to let them stay with him, and Natsuo reluctantly agrees to go.
Natsuo becomes fond of Soubi and Ritsuka, and they become very happy living with Soubi, even though they don’t really admit the extent of fond of the arrangement they become to them. It’s really different from the life they knew with Nagisa-sensei.
Later, Nagisa-sensei tells the pair they can come home. They do go because they are really happy Nagisa-sensei still wants them, but they are also sad because they have grown to really like their new home. They leave with just a note saying they are going home.
Youji is treated far better then Natsuo by Nagisa-sensei when they get home. It annoys Natsuo when Nagisa-sensei does so, but he says that he loves Youji too so it’s okay. They go back to her to be re-taught by Ritsu how to fight. Even though they say it’s a bad idea, Nagisa-sensei says they must.
When Soubi and Ritsuka come to the school, Natsuo and Youji help with dealing with Ritsuka’s brother, Seimei. They take control of his name, which upsets him. They are beaten down from his words, which for some reason make them tremble. They become scared but Soubi ends the confrontation when he breaks the window behind Seimei. Seimei is able to escape, but this allowed the pair to calm down again.
They help to find Kio, who was captured after Seimei escaped. They go with Soubi and Ritsuka to exchange for Kio, They find the captive to be really funny.
There is a fight between Bloodless and Loveless. During the fight, the pair experienced their worse nightmare. The dream was of having Nagisa choose the other zero pair over them and being disowned. It was terrible for them, but Soubi snapped them out of it.
After they fight, they ask Nagisa if they can live with Soubi because they don’t want to fight the loveless fight anymore. They get the okay, which makes them happy, saying that it is their home. They go right back to how settled they were before Nagisa-sensei said to come home, but they aren’t saying why she really let them return, other then Nagisa-sensei says Ritsuka is a useful person to have around.

I’m Natsuo, but I’ve never been on this stupid ship before, so stop coming up to me like you know me. It’s weird and I am going to call you all perverts. Or stalkers, I haven’t picked which one yet.
That out of the way, I want to get a job where I can cut things up. Anyone know what kind of job that can be? I don’t mind doing simple things. I just like to cut things up. I’m good at it too.
Youji, lets get some cake tonight, okay? Soubi can’t make us go to sleep if he’s not here. Maybe there is something fun we can do too? I want to see this place more, so let’s find something fun to do!
3rd person sample:
Natsuo wasn’t sure what to make of the fact that Youji had been on this stupid ship for so long without him. He didn’t even want to think about there being another him, or that fact that he might have been there already.
No, that was just stupid; Natsuo was going to keep focusing on his video game instead of things he didn’t understand. He was winning with Youji and it was awesome! “These stupid things don’t have a chance!” There came a couple of woots from Youji as they finished off the level, which made Natsuo grin.
After a second, he hugged Youji after they had won, something the other hadn’t seemed to get tired of yet. Normally he would just high five him; but ever since he heard about being away from Youji for so long, he felt like hugs. Whatever. It was okay for now, and they could go back to normal sooner or later.
Natsuo wondered who else had been on the ship that he knew. Ritsuka was still here, but what about Soubi and Kio? It wasn’t something that Youji wanted to talk about, or got too distracted from. Ritsuka though? He wasn’t sure why he hadn’t had much time to talk to him yet.
Nagisa Sagan wouldn’t like how lazy they were being, but it didn’t matter anymore. They had left her anyway… Natsuo’s ears lowered and he moved closer to Youji, his tail hitting against his side. They had a place to live with Soubi at home, and Ritsuka as a friend, but Youji was Natsuo’s world. As long as he was there, everything was okay.
“I’m going to get us some apple sacks!” Natsuo said before getting up. He would have to remember to be careful with the knife. Watch out where he cut. Though, he had become much better about hurting himself over the years. One day his lack of feeling would kill him, but Natsuo just wanted to make some bunny apples for Youji right now. Yes, though death would always be a heartbeat away, Natsuo was with Youji, and that made it okay for now.

Natsuo is the fighter for Zero. He uses word spells to fight with his sacrifice, Youji. The team is named zero because they cannot feel pain because of their terrible blood circulation. They are also able to control someone when they know their full name. They take that name on for their own and make their bodies do as they say.
Personality:
Natsuo is a brat. He loves to stir up trouble when he can. He will follow the orders of his sacrifice though, never questioning him. Other then that he rarely does what he is told. He listens to Nagisa-sensei though, because she is like a mother to him. He really wishes she would praise him like she does Youji. Despite this jealous streak toward Youji, Natsuo is always loyal to him and really likes him. He does everything thing he can to make him happy, and will put Youji’s happiness before his own.
He likes to play games with others normally, like when he played with Ritsuka’s teacher and takes control of her name. These games can be on the twisted side, something with pain or humiliation. He really likes to see other people’s pain, like when he wanted to see Soubi’s suffering as they were fighting.
Natsuo does warm up to other people; and finds that that those who are interesting will be fun to have around. This is shown when he really likes Soubi and Ritskua. Guess most of this stuff is Ritsuka’s stuff, it’s really cute.
[Riffles through some draws and pulls out some of Ritsuka’s clothing, looking at the size]
Hey, he is smaller then me. [shrugs and puts them back] this stuff is boring. Why isn’t there anything interesting? [someone walks into the room though and Natsuo sprints out, grabbing his phone on the way] LATER! [You can hear him say as he runs]
Third Person Sample:
Natsuo was in the game room again, zooming out on one of the games. He really wanted Youji to be with him. He felt light headed and just plain wrong to not have his other half with him. Hanging out with the loveless pair helped a little, but then again it also reminded him how alone he really was.
Natsuo shook his head and focused on the game. He wanted to have it leveled up before Youji got there. He would be really happy that he would be able to play at a high lever instead of starting low. Natsuo flicked his tail with joy. Yeah, that would be good, if he was ready for Youji when her got here.
Natsuo had to believe that he would come, it was the only thing keeping him from just curling up under the loveless pairs bed and staying there. He wondered if they were sleeping in the same bed yet. Ritsuka was so cute about stuff like that.
Natsuo just paused in his game, letting the boss kill him. What was he really, without Youji; a useless fighter. He couldn’t be like Soubi and just take on another person for Zero. He would rather die. Anyway, he hated the other pair of Zero. They played with their bond and it was sickening! His ears dropped. That’s what the writer was doing, using him as a play thing.
Natsuo throw the controller at the TV, embedding it into the screen. He wouldn’t die here. He had to stay strong for Youji! “STUPID WRITER! I WON’NT GIVE IN TO YOUR GAME!” and with that he stormed off to find Ritsuka. Maybe he would play a game with him
